The other reason I am so excited is that all of my sessions except one are repeats from WSSC a few months ago in Miami. That means the preparation is not as extensive (although I say that now...knowing me I'll still stay up late, hide out in my hotel room, practice my power-points, re-read my notes and listen non-stop to my playlists until Sunday afternoon after the conference). The 7th session (one more than I presented in Miami) is one of my all-time favorites called Loop de Loop. I retired it from WSSC (after many years) to make room for newer sessions, but it has been one of the favorites since I began presenting. Why? Because it's just so dang fun!
The third reason I am so excited about next weekend is because Toronto is one of my favorite cities. I used to live in San Francisco, and Toronto reminds me of the chic, metropolitan international ambiance that I loved so much about SF. It's a beautiful, exciting and user-friendly city, with fantastic ethnic restaurants (my favorite)! If anyone reading this is going to be at Can Fit Pro (or even if you're not and you live in/near Toronto) and you want to get a group together to go out to dinner one night email me at jennifer@vivatravels.com.
Here is my schedule at Can Fit Pro:
Thursday: Precon: Spinning Orientation with Renée Spriggs
Friday 1:30 - 3:00 Lactate Threshold Field Test
Friday 6:15 pm - 7:30 The Secret Ride
Saturday 7:30 am - 8:45 Pedal Stroke Drills
Saturday 12:30 - 2:00 Moving Mountains
Saturday 3:00 - 4:30 The Triple Threat (Three Types of Intervals)
Sunday 7:30 am - 8:45 Loop de Loop
Sunday 11:45 - 1:15 Tour de France and Alpe d'Huez
My co-presenters are Jeff Krabiel from California, Renée Spriggs from Houston, TX, and filling in for Josh Taylor (who unfortunately had to pull out due to an injury) is Michael Ferrante from Massachusetts. The Spinning room will be filled with sold-out sessions from early morning to evening (last sessions are over at 7:30 pm - whew - that's a long day)! This promises to be a very exciting, educational and fun weekend. Each of the Spinning Master Instructors presenting have different styles, different music, and different cueing and coaching ideas to teach, and between the variety of session offered, attendees have so many different choices. If I were a Canadian IDC instructor, I wouldn't miss this event for the world!

Did your secret ride & lactate classes yesterday Jennifer--they were friggen incredible! Way to inspire dude!
I always look forward to your inspiration. If I need a profile or an idea, I always find it with your amazing descriptions and music!
I had to laugh when I saw that you were presenting with Jeff Krabiel.....you were my 2 fav presenters at WSSC 07(your Keeping It Real and his "counting" session which has provided endless hours of inspiration and teaching) You both are top notch, please tell him so!
I am looking for your Favorite Song Lists mentioned on Pedal-On which is your 2. Highly Motivating, powerful, triumphant songs. Where can I find these gems? Thanks!
Nikki,
thanks so much for your kind words! That's what makes it so worthwhile to me!
Jonnie,
I believe I was talking about my two posts with my 150 favorite climbing songs which I divided into three groups. The first post has what i call my "Just sit back and climb" songs (a little slower beat, get lost in the rhythm, zone inward, etc. Lots of songs that I use in my Moving Mountains ride) and those are here: http://funhogspins.blogspot.com/2008/05/funhogs-favorite-climbing-songs-1.html
The second post has two groups of climbing songs: the powerful, inspirational give-me-chill-songs, also used a lot for conference sessions, and the songs I use for faster climbs (a bit faster beat). I've noticed that I tend to climb on average at a slower cadence, 60-ish rpm, and I LOVE songs that I ride with at that pace (could be due to the fact that I live in a mountainous place and climb a lot - and I could use another gear or two on my road bike)!
The latter two can be found here:

Let me know if you found what you're looking for! Enjoy!
Jennifer
Hi Jennifer,
I coached the Secret ride this morning (EEZ) by reading your CFP handout and by talking to Nikkijade. Unfortunately, I didn't take this workshop. If possible, would you please give me some guidance on your cueing for this ride in writing. Here is a feedback from a member who ride it today:
"Hi Le. Just want to tell you again how wonderful your class was. It always strikes me when a moment of spiritual awareness or awakening hits me. It truly was one of those " a-ha" moments. Patti"
I love the term "a-ha moment"! I think she found her "secret" :>)
I am hooked on your blog now, you are not only helping us to become better instructors, you also share most of your personal life' experiences: Interbike show, real rides, business plans, obstacles... all of that made us relate to you more and to ourself and realize that life is about. Much thanks.
Namaste,
Le
